Z GORRES will return to the Philippines earlier than expected, after recovering from a life-threatening head injury in Las Vegas for almost three months. Gorres is scheduled to leave Las Vegas, where in he is undergoing comprehensive rehabilitation on the left side of his body, this weekend.
Manny Pacquiao, boxing’s No. 1 attraction, has forged a commercial partnership with Albertsons, a major grocery chain in the US. According to Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz, a shopper who pays a minimum of $50 worth of items in a participating branch in the Dallas area, will go home with a signed poster of the March 13 Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight.

Way before noon Wednesday, Rodel Mayol was already at the Wildcard Gym in deep training for his February 27th title defense against former world champion Omar Nino Romero (28-3-1-1ND, 11KO) of Mexico.
It’s been a while since I visited the fame Wildcard Gym so I decided to pick up the old camera and took a trip to the place to check out the Filipino fighters training there for their Valentine’s eve fights at the Las Vegas Hilton.
